PUBLIC NOTICE
The Missoula Consolidated Planning Board will conduct a public
hearing on the following item on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at
7:00 p.m., in the Missoula City Council Chambers located at 140 W.
Pine Street in Missoula, Montana.
1. Zoning Request – Manley Property
Missoula County Community Planning and Services (CAPS)
has received a rezoning application from Jeanette Manley,
represented by Montana Northwest Company, to establish
zoning for Parcel A1 of COS 1363 in Section 21, T14 N,
R20 W, P.M.M. The parcel is currently occupied by one
residential structure and one commercial structure. The
applicant is proposing to zone Parcel A1 of COS 1363 C-R2
Residential. The property is currently unzoned. The intent of
the C-R2 zone is to provide for multiple-family development
capable of being adequately served by public services.
Planned unit developments and planned variations are
encouraged to promote innovative approaches to housing and
environmental design.
The Missoula Board of County Commissioners will hold a public
hearing on this item at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017.
The hearing will be held in Room 151 of the County Courthouse,
located at 200 West Broadway in Missoula. The application and
exact legal description are available for public inspection at
Missoula County Community and Planning Services office, 323
West Alder, Missoula, Montana, and Missoula County Clerk and
Recorder’s office, 200 W. Broadway, Missoula, MT.
