'Mamma Mia'

The musical, "Mamma Mia," which was propelled to Broadway hit status by a selection of ABBA songs, is coming to the Adams Center at the University of Montana this weekend.

The musical was written by Catherine Johnson, with music by members of the Swedish pop juggernaut group, Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus.

The play premiered in 1999 in London, then made its way to Broadway, where it became of the longest-running shows of all time, and has since disco-strutted its stuff on stages around the world.

The performance is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Friday. To purchase tickets, which cost from $46.80 to $62, go to GrizTix outlets, griztix.com or call 406-243-4051.
