Dolce Canto, an auditioned, nonprofit vocal ensemble, will present its spring concert this Saturday in Missoula.
"Journey Home" will include choral works from different cultures around the world, as well tunes new and familiar.
Dolce Canto has earned some pretigious honors since it was founded in 2001: it was invited to sing in New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2013, and in 2014 it won the Dale Warland Singers Commission Award.
The ensemble has released two CDs: 2010's "A Capella Around the World" and 2014's holiday album, "A Joyful Season."
"Journey Home" will take place on Saturday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 202 Brooks St. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased at Fact & Fiction, Rockin’ Rudy’s, or via the choir’s website at dolce.canto.info. Concerts are frequently sold out.
