Hard-rock groups Halestorm and In This Moment are bringing their female-fronted tour to Missoula this summer, according to a news release.
The groups, along with New Years Day, are playing the Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheater on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
Halestorm won a Grammy in 2012 for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for their song, "Love Bites (So Do I)." Lzzy Hale, the lead singer, is the first woman to win the statue in that category, according to Grammy.com. The group is currently at work on its fourth album.
This summer marks the second season at Big Sky since its entertainment partner, Knitting Factory Presents, invested in an engineered bowl and a significantly larger stage that allows for more elaborate production and sound. Here's the rest of the 2018 lineup:
Barenaked Ladies with Better Than Ezra and KT Tunstall: Wednesday, June 6.
"Symphony Under the Sky" with Chris Botti and the Missoula Symphony Orchestra: Friday, June 15.
Travelers' Rest, the Decemberists' curated, two-day festival: Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 4-5.
Shakey Graves with Jose Gonzalez and the Brite Lites: Saturday, Aug. 25.
The Avett Brothers with the Head and the Heart: Sunday, Sept. 16.
Leon Bridges with special guests Khruangbin: Tuesday, Sept. 18.
Luke Bryan with Jon Pardi and Carly Pearce: Wednesday, Sept. 19.
