Meditation techniques used by adults may not be as accessible to kids.

A discussion and contemplation of Lojong — training the mind in compassion — and Tonglen — a way to develop compassion using meditation — will be led by David Curtis, a lama trained in the Tibetan Buddhist on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 102 McLeod. Join either or both sessions of 10 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. Bring a sack lunch for noon hour fellowship.

There is no charge but donations are appreciated.
