Firefighters knocked down a blaze at the 4-H Cafe at the Missoula County Fairgrounds Friday night.
Fair director Emily Bentley said volunteers in the cafe evacuated and everyone was removed from buildings on either side.
The blaze, which started at 7:45 p.m., was quickly put out. Bentley said she didn't know what caused the fire.
Missoula Fire Department Battalion Chief David Wolter said the incident remains under investigation. The department keeps an engine at the fairgrounds during the Western Montana Fair, and Wolter thanked the public for listening to law enforcement that cleared the area.
Bentley said the other buildings that were evacuated will be reopened, and she is looking for a new home for the 4-H Cafe. No injuries were reported.
