KALISPELL - A 15-year-old boy who had been suspended from Glacier High School for hazing teammates on the freshman football bus in September won't be returning to classes this school year.

The boy had been scheduled to return to classes on Oct. 31, but the parents of the players who reported being hazed filed a lawsuit seeking to prevent that. The boy agreed to enroll in an alternative setting until a hearing on the lawsuit could be held.

The Daily Inter Lake reports that lawsuit was dismissed Wednesday after the boy agreed to continue in another school for the rest of the school year.

The boy and another 15-year-old are charged with misdemeanor assault.
