A Frenchtown man faces a felony charge for the second time this month, this time for allegedly vandalizing the utility room at a Missoula hotel, fighting an employee who tried to stop him and fleeing, naked.
Jeremy Dee Hanson, 37, had his bail set at $15,000 Tuesday in Missoula County Justice Court on a count of felony aggravated burglary.
According to court documents, police were called to the Best Western Grant Creek Inn on Saturday after an employee found Hanson, allegedly naked, in the utility room. Guests at the hotel had complained about a lack of hot water and the employee had gone to investigate.
The employee said lights in the utility room had been smashed, a fire extinguisher was ripped from the wall, covers had been torn off the water heaters and the electrical fuse panels had been tampered with.
Hanson allegedly attacked the employee, then fled, still naked.
Hanson had appeared in court a week earlier after being arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief following another incident where he allegedly crashed his truck into a parked motorcycle, then fled. Holloway had set a $2,000 bail from that incident.
