Missoula police have cleared the scene after a bomb threat was made at Winds of Change Mental Health Center on Palmer Street.

Missoula Police Department Sgt. James Caton said responding officers used bomb-sniffing dogs from the University of Montana to do a thorough sweep of the building and outside areas.

The dogs didn't find an explosive device, he said.

Two buildings – at 2685 and 2687 Palmer St. – were evacuated after a person called Winds of Change about 3 p.m. and gave employees five minutes to evacuate the building.

Workers from the buildings were later allowed back in to gather personal items.

Caton said there are no suspects at this point, but the department will continue investigating the threat.

"We take those matters very seriously and it will be looked into," Caton said.
