Missoula police are investigating an alleged rape that occurred at a house party on Keith Avenue near the University of Montana early Sunday morning.
An 18-year-old UM student reported a man raped her in the garage while she was at the party.
She reported the incident to the University of Montana police, who escorted her to the hospital and First Step. Missoula police have taken over the investigation.
Missoula Police Department spokesman Travis Welsh said the woman identified the man by his first name, and said he was between the ages of 18 and 25 years old and has brown hair and green eyes.
The house where the alleged attack occurred is on the 400 block of Keith Avenue, about one block from campus.
It's unknown if the alleged perpetrator is also a student.
This is the second rape report involving University of Montana students since their return for fall semester.
Another UM student alleged Fazliddin Sharipov, 27, of Tajikistan raped her on campus in late August before classes began.
Sharipov was charged in Municipal Court with five counts of misdemeanor sexual assault and arrested Sept. 10. He posted $7,500 bond and was released Sept. 11.
