ARLEE — Correna Lee Moran (Butler), 50, born Nov. 29, 1967, left us Sunday, March 11, 2018. Correna lost her long, hard battle with her brain tumor. Even though she suffered terribly she never complained or felt self-pity and she is to be commended for that. She went all through her school years in Arlee where she was active in sports and was a cheerleader. After graduation she did clerical work until deciding on a new career as a Headstart teacher and had just received her degree when her brain tumor was diagnosed so she was unable to teach.
She leaves behind her parents, John and Karin Butler. Bud (Audi) Moran, Daughter Samantha Couture, Son Cody Couture, Sister Lovette (Lawrence) Kemill, Brothers Buddy Moran, Billy (Lori) Moran, Mike Butler and several half and step siblings and last but not least the love of her life Rory Stone.
She was preceded by her grandparents Chuck and Margaret Sanders, Ernie and Alice Moran, Special Niece Tiffany TwoTeeth and several Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. Special thanks to her Aunt Sheila for the weeks of caregiving and to Rory for his care and devotion. Thank you Dr. Snyder for all the years you cared for her.
A wake is starting Tuesday, March 13, at the Arlee Community Center with rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at the Arlee Community Center with burial to follow at the Jocko Cemetery.
