VICTOR — Delbert Raymond Combs, 71, of Victor, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at his personal residence. He was born Jan, 13, 1946 in Bradleyville, Missouri, son of the late John R. Combs Jr. and Lucille Todd.

In 1950 the Combs family moved out West to Homedale, Idaho and later settled in the quaint little town of Paul, Idaho, where Delbert attended Minico High School. It was in Paul, Idaho that he would meet the mother of his children and decided to start his family. In 1969 Delbert moved to Anchorage, Alaska and joined the Teamsters Local Union #959 where he later retired from.

In the 1990s Delbert returned to Idaho and traveled around the Western United States for a few years before settling in Victor, where he fell in love with the vast beauty of the landscape and the untouched wild of the West. This is where Delbert found peace and decided to live out the remainder of his life.

Delbert is survived by his brother Leonard, both his children Kristine and Jason, as well as, his four grandchildren Quayde, Taylen, Jack, and Mason.

In honor of Delbert a private family interment will take place at his personal residence in Victor.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Emma’s House in the name of Delbert Raymond Combs. Donations can be made at emmashousecac.org/product/donate-amount/. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at whitesittfuneralhome.com
