MISSOULA – Juanita F. Fuss passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at St. Patrick Hospital with some of her family by her side. She is now in the arms of our Lord, joining her three deceased children, David, Jean and Judy.

Juanita was born Jan. 31, 1923, in Lewistown to Homer and Beulah Norton. They moved to Missoula in 1931 where she was raised and educated.

In 1941, she married Earl Gainer; they had four children, Judy, Pat, Jean and David.

In 1946, she married James White, who had one daughter, Barbara Jean; together they had two children, Jim and Jamie.

On Feb. 27, 1986, Juanita married Walter Fuss. Juanita helped raised his three boys, Kerry, Bruce and Dennis.

Juanita has been an active member of the Salvation Army Church since Dec. 31, 1955. Her faith and service to God was important to her, as was her commitment to family.

Juanita enjoyed arts and crafts in most any form, entering many things in the county fair.

She spent the last 14 months living with her daughter, Jamie, and son-in-law, Michael, in Kingman, Ariz. Juanita was home for a visit in Missoula when she passed away.

She is survived by son, Jim White; daughters, Barbara (Wayne) Nelson, Pat (Max) Galland, Jamie (Michael); sister Nell-Yvonne, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous neices and nephews.

Celebration of Juanita’s life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29 at the Salvation Army Church, 339 W. Broadway, reception and refreshments to follow.
