Due to construction of the new Missoula College building, the Associated Students of the University of Montana’s East Broadway park and ride lot will close Monday. Users are encouraged to take advantage of several alternatives, including a temporary park and ride at the Comfort Inn University Hotel, 1021 E. Broadway.

UM students, faculty and staff can take advantage of the following transportation alternatives during the closure. They are:

• UDASH riders can park free of charge at the Comfort Inn, located three blocks west of the East Broadway park and ride lot, and board the Green Line UDASH to campus.

• Upon request, frequent Green Line UDASH riders can get a free parking pass to the Park Place parking garage in downtown Missoula until the end of the semester. The pass is valued at $190 and will be offered at no charge to students, faculty and staff. From downtown, riders can catch the Mountain Line Route 1 bus to campus, which departs every 15 minutes.

• Riders can continue to park at the Dornblaser and Lewis and Clark park and ride lots and take the UDASH buses to campus free of charge.

Personalized trip planning assistance is available by calling the ASUM Office of Transportation at 243-4599. Maps and schedules are available at udash.org/construction.
