Good Friday morning, western Montana! The weekend is near! But first ... the National Weather Service says to expect showers this morning, then afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Tonight, there's a 20 percent chance of showers before midnight, as temperatures drop to the freezing mark.

Here is the Weather Service's forecast for the weekend, and the work and school week beyond:

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58. Northeast wind 6 to 9 mph becoming south southeast.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. East southeast wind between 3 and 7 mph.

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. East wind around 6 mph.

Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Monday: Showers. High near 55. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Monday Night: Showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36.

Tuesday: A slight chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 52.

Tuesday Night: A slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34.

Wednesday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 52.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58.
