BOZEMAN – A 53-year-old Kentucky woman who police say pulled a gun on a Montana attorney during mediation in a lawsuit has been denied her request to have a felony assault with a weapon charge dismissed.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports that Gallatin County District Court Judge Mike Salvagni denied Mary Ann McCulley’s motion on Wednesday.

Prosecutors allege McCulley was in Bozeman from Owensboro, Ky., meeting with attorneys April 25 when she slammed documents on a table and said, “This is my final offer that you are going to sign.” Witnesses say she pulled a pistol loaded with birdshot.

A struggle ensued, a man was bitten and McCulley allegedly fled only to be caught a few minutes later by police.

McCulley has been jailed on $1 million bail since the incident.

Kentucky. What did you expect.

Having spent way too much time in that neck of the world, that woman's behavior is just business as usual for someone from Kentucky.

The collective lowering of IQs there is the only thing keeping Texas from succeeding from the USA. Texas knows that Kentucky would want to go with them, but Texas would rather live under a dictator than be responsible for Kentucky.

It took Kentucky centuries of work to turn its name into an insult. Montucky-up Cowboy!

"succeeding" from the USA?
