Good Saturday morning, western Montana! The National Weather Service says we'll have continued rain showers today, with afternoon highs of 52 degrees in the valleys. Winds will be light and from the west, increasing to 8-13 mph.

Tonight, there is a 30 percent chance of continued showers, primarily before midnight. Skies will remain cloudy overnight as temperatures drop to 33 degrees.

Here is the Weather Service's daily forecast for the week ahead:

Sunday: Showers likely, mainly after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 53. West southwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Sunday Night: A chance of rain showers before midnight, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. West southwest wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Monday: A chance of rain and snow showers before noon, then a chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. West wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 34.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 68.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 75.
