Good Sunday morning, western Montana! How about that gorgeous, sunny weather on Saturday? Beautiful! Good news: The National Weather Service says we'll enjoy more sunshine today, with afternoon highs of 40 degrees.

Tonight, there's a slight chance of rain and snow after 11. The snow level will be at 3,200 feet, as valley temperatures drop to 29 degrees.

Here is the Weather Service's forecast for the work and school week ahead:

Monday: A chance of snow before 11am, then a slight chance of rain showers. Snow level rising to 3600 feet. Cloudy, with a high near 41. West southwest wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.

Tuesday: A slight chance of rain showers. Snow level 3700 feet rising to 4400 feet. Cloudy, with a high near 46. West southwest wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday Night: A chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 31. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday: A chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 42. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.

Thursday: A chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 39.

Thursday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23.

Friday: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 24.

Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 37.
