My husband and I, along with members of our church, and members of the Advocates for Our Republic, attended the Jeff Cole Memorial Lecture and thank Maria Cole for giving us the opportunity to hear Professor Mike Adams in a quiet assembly of about 700 people. Thanks go to the RIVER's veterans, other security people and the police, who escorted about 10 very loud and angry protesters out of the assembly.
To invite Professor Adams was the right choice, as he informed us of our many rights through his experiences, as no one else could have done. He told us that college and university administrators have no legal right to force diversity, for example, upon a Muslim Campus Club or a Christian Campus Club, as that would be as illegal as the white supremacist effort in the '50s to diversify the NAACP and alter their southern strategy.
Adams advised us to familiarize ourselves with the Federalist Papers for a better understanding of the Colonial Christian "world view," which extended to the 1700s. He believes that we will have to stand up for our constitutional rights, all of which protect human dignity.
Thanks again to Maria Cole.
