The Senate is about to vote on Kathleen Hartnett White’s nomination to be President Trump’s top environmental advisor and chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ).

Hartnett White has spent a lifetime opposing CEQ’s mission to foster an environment safe for future generations. She has a long track record of ignoring public opinion, and she has opposed clean energy development, saying renewable energy from wind and solar was unreliable and parasitic.

U.S. Sen. Steve Daines should oppose Kathleen Hartnett White’s nomination, and stand up for a clean energy economy in Montana.
