Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price has recklessly spent $400,000 of the taxpayers’ money on costly chartered airplane flights for such purposes as having lunch with his son in Florida.
Then, using “fake news” to its fullest extent, the White House announces that Price will reimburse the government. But he is reimbursing only $51,000 of that amount.
That is like an ordinary citizen buying a $42,000 automobile and only paying $7,000 because he or she occupies one seat in the vehicle which seats six. The average citizen would be hauled into court, found guilty, and fined.
In fact, I and millions of average taxpayers in this nation should get a massive payback from lending institutions for what was paid for home mortgages. After all, I occupied only 1/5 of our home.
If this type of math or logic were used by third graders in the school system where I am a school trustee, those students would fail. Why does the Trump administration feel it can use such sloppy math?
