BILLINGS — William Gorman hit his first professional home run in the second inning to open the scoring and the Missoula Osprey would go on to top the Billings Mustangs 6-4 in Pioneer League baseball action Sunday at Dehler Park.

Gorman would walk twice on the day and score three runs. Andy Yerzy belted his seventh homer in the third inning for Missoula. With the home run, Yerzy extended his hitting streak to 20 games.

It was the third game of a four-game series between the two clubs and Billings' first loss in the stretch.

J.D. Salmon-Williams hit his first homer in the fifth inning for Billings. The solo shot came with one out and nobody on base. Williams finished 2-4 with two runs and a steal.

Missoula relievers Casey Kulina and Abraham Almonte combined to retire 12 of the last 13 Billings hitters.

The teams conclude their series Monday at Dehler Park with first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
