JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) -- Rudy Flores scored on a passed ball in the eighth inning, leading the Jackson Generals to a 5-4 win over the Birmingham Barons on Monday.
Colin Poche struck Ryan Brett out with a runner on first to end the game for his first save of the season.
The play came in the midst of a three-run inning and tied the game 4-4. Later in the inning, Jackson took the lead when Alberto Rosario hit an RBI single.
Michael Dimock (2-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Jorge Rondon (0-1) took the loss in the Southern League game.
