The Montana women's soccer team is set to host Sacramento State at 3 p.m. Friday and Northern Arizona at 1 p.m. Sunday with a chance to etablish itself in the Big Sky Conference's upper echelon.
Montana enters play this weekend with a 1-1-1 league mark (6-5-2 overall), bouncing back from its first conference loss with a double-overtime draw at Weber State last Sunday
Sac State (1-1-2, 6-5-2) earned a result in its first three conference matches — including a victory over North Dakota — before losing 1-0 to Northern Colorado on Sunday. The Hornets have allowed just one goal in four conference matches and are led by a freshman who has six goals already this season.
Northern Arizona (3-1, 8-5) played in last season's conference title game and is currently leading the league at 3-1.
