HELENA – Carroll College offensive tackle Josh James was named to the American Football Coaches Association NAIA All-America team, the AFCA announced Tuesday.

James, a senior from Coeur d’Alene, was named first team. Montana Western's AJ Wilson joined him in top honors.

During the season, Wilson racked up a team-high 73 total tackles – 45 solo and 28 assisted – 9 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 4 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and most impressive, 3 defensive touchdowns. All three touchdowns came in the Bulldogs' first game of the season, a 49-6 rout of Rocky Mountain College.

James started every game for the Saints this season and 44 games over his career at Carroll. He was a mainstay at the left tackle position in all four years at Carroll. He started every season and earned Frontier Conference All-Conference First-Team honors during his junior and senior years.
