WHITEFISH – Players from Montana Western, Montana Tech and Eastern Oregon earned Frontier Conference player of the week honors for football.

Western's Skyler Roope was named the defensive player of the week. Roope, a senior defensive back from Helena, had eight unassisted tackles, one tackle for loss and one interception in the Bulldogs' 27-23 win over College of Idaho.

Montana Tech's Zach Bunney is the special teams player of the week. The junior from Butte returned three kicks for 118 yards, including a 93-yard return for a touchdown, in the Orediggers' 42-24 win over Eastern Oregon.

Zach Bartlow of Eastern Oregon was named the offensive player of the week. The junior quarterback was 27 of 55 passing for 395 yards and three touchdowns against Montana Tech.
