The Montana softball team is scheduled to host its first home games Sunday at the Frenchtown High School softball complex.
The Griz will take on North Idaho College at 1:15 p.m. and Carroll College at 3:30 p.m.
Last weekend, Montana went 3-1 in its first games as a program.
Coach Jamie Pinkerton said the team was able to get rid of first-game jitters last week.
“We learned what a road trip is going to be like and what our routines are going to be,” Pinkerton said. “They know what’s expected when we arrive at the ballpark.”
North Idaho finished last season with a record of 35-21. In the second game on Sunday, the Griz face off against another first-year program, Carroll College. Carroll added women’s softball this year as well as a men’s soccer program.
