WALNUT, Calif. – Kalispell Glacier senior Troy Fraley placed second Saturday at the 34th annual Foot Locker Cross Country Championships West Regional.

Fraley finished the 5K course in 15 minutes, 37 seconds. Benjamin Saarel of Salt Lake City won the race with a time of 15:28.

Kalispell Flathead senior Zach Perrin placed eighth at 15:47.

Bigfork sophomore Makena Morley placed third in the girls’ race, finishing in 18:17, just two seconds ahead of Paige Gilchrist of Missoula Hellgate. Marissa Williams of Los Angeles won with a time of 17:46.

The top eight runners qualified for the national meet Saturday in San Diego.
