The Trust for Public Lands helped broker transfer of a 640-acre parcel, shown as orange with black hatch marks, from Stimson Lumber Co. to the Lolo National Forest. All of the other property still under agreement for purchase is in orange. The Trust for Public Land and the Forest Service will be working to secure additional LWCF funds in fiscal year 2018 to acquire the rest of the property and consolidate the Lolo National Forest into public ownership.
