Roger A. Garman, owner of the property at 25580 Highway 200 East, Bonner, Montana has requested a variance from the Missoula City-County Health Code, Regulation 1, which requires permanent bathroom facilities be available for occupied structures, and prohibits the use unsealed pit privies in areas that are not remote or inaccessible. Mr. Garman wants to construct an unsealed pit privy to serve a permanently occupied RV that is currently on the property. The RV is not connected to a water supply. The Health Board has scheduled a hearing on this request for Thursday, November 21 in the second-floor conference room #210 at the Health Department at 301 West Alder in Missoula. The hearing will start at 12:15 p.m. or soon thereafter. Interested persons may present relevant information at the hearing.
