Stevensville Road Improvements Work starts the week of May 20th Montana Department of Transportation is undertaking a series of projects aimed at improving accessibility and protecting your investment in existing roads. Stevensville ADA-May • Sidewalk corner upgrades for a more inclusive, vibrant downtown. • Ramp replacement on Main Street will occur during the day. The public is asked to prepare for noise impacts, minor pedestrian detours, and some parking disturbances downtown. Bitterroot Overflow Bridge-Mid June • Replacement of antiquated wooden guardrail for improved safety. • Bridgework will require single-lane one-way traffic controlled by a portable signal. Prepare for reduced speeds and delays of up to 15 minutes. Eastside Highway (Sec. 269) Improvements-July • Pavement preservation for extended life of the existing roadway. • Single-lane closures and one-way traffic will be in effect for paving and milling activities on Eastside Highway (Secondary 269). US-93 Improvements-July Traffic on Eastside Highway and US-93 will return to normal configurations to the extent possible during daytime hours. • Pavement preservation for extended life of the existing roadway. • Motorists traveling on US-93 should expect delays of up to 15 minutes, reduced speeds and single-lane, two-way traffic in construction zones.
