Acquisition

Michael J. Tucker of the Tucker Entertainment Group LLC, the parent company to Tucker Entertainment Events, has purchased the publishing rights for LifeStyle Publications. This new publication will focus on the communities of Missoula, Whitefish Valley and Bozeman/Big Sky. The first publication will be launched shortly in Missoula as The Missoula Valley LifeStyle Publication. These publications are local, community-driven monthly magazines.

Appointed

Tracie Kenyon, president/CEO of the Montana Credit Union Network, was named chair of the American Association of Credit Union Leagues. The Helena-based Montana Credit Union Network is the trade association for the state's credit unions, and promotes and enhances a thriving credit union community. Kenyon replaced Wendell Lyons, president/CEO of the Kentucky Credit Union League. Kenyon assumed the chair position because she was AACUL’s first vice chair. She has served on the AACUL board since 2010 and previously served as the organization’s secretary and treasurer. In her role as AACUL’s first vice chair, Kenyon also served as chair of CUNA’s Credit Union Legislative Action Council, according to AACUL.

Elected

Paul R. Haffeman, shareholder with Davis, Hatley, Haffeman and Tighe P.C. of Great Falls, was elected president of the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers. Haffeman, an honors graduate of the University of Montana Law School, has practiced law in Great Falls since 1988. He is currently president of the Cascade County Bar Association, secretary/treasurer of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Montana state representative to the Defense Research Institute. Randall J. Colbert, Garlington, Lohn and Robinson, Missoula, was elected vice president; and Stephanie Hollar of Great Falls, attorney with the Montana State Fund, was elected secretary/treasurer.
