The 6,600-square-foot expansion of PEAK Health and Wellness Center, at 5000 Blue Mountain Road, better serves the needs of members and the entire community, according to director Susie Turner.
The expansion, completed in October, added a change in landscape as well as windows to increase the facility’s natural light. It also offers members a significant increase in the free-weight area, a mini football field with turf on it for functional training, all new equipment for free weights and hammer strength, new cycling bikes, an elevator making the facility’s second floor handicap accessible, and expanded parking.
“We are a results-oriented facility focusing on four key pillars of health: nutrition, exercise and movement, supplementation, and coaching and accountability," Turner said. "As advancements are made in the health and fitness world, we wanted to remain the leader in western Montana, and that is the reason for the expansion.”
The PEAK offers members three different locations, including a downtown location on Spruce Street, the Blue Mountain facility and the Racquetball Club on Buckhouse Lane.
The facilities offer a wide variety of group fitness classes, a mind and body yoga studio for yoga and mat Pilates, spin classes, personal training, a day spa and salon, on-site physical therapy, pro shops and child care.
