AlphaGraphics Missoula

Today, the Missoulian visits with Alphagraphics Missoula, one of our community's cornerstone businesses.

Here's what we learned in a Q&A with Alphagraphics' present-day owners.

Give a brief (100 words or less) history of how your business started.

The business was started by Tim Seery in 1965. Later Gordon Spring joined as a parter bringing a large volume of business forms work to the facility to be produced in-house.

What is the key to your longevity as a Missoula business?

Community involvement, community support, reciprocity of local business, and building strong relationships!

What is the biggest event that’s ever happened in your business’s history?

Becoming part of the Alphagraphics network and having an amazing team that kept reinventing their skills over the years as new demands were needed.

How has your business changed, or evolved, over the years?

Countless changes have occurred over the years. From removing chemicals used to process plates, to streamlined methods of manufacturing, to technology on presses, to the services we provide such as wrapping vehicles, website creation, mailing services and creating signs.

Tell us a little (100 words or less) about your current business and its employees.

Alphagraphics is a marketing services provider serving the Western Montana area. We are 21 full-time employees with over 250 years combined experience in marketing service manufacturing. Nearly half the employees have been with the company for more than 10 years, four employees have been with the company for 25 years or more.

What are your future plans for the business?

In the future we are hoping to continue to grow our capabilities by adding more machinery and training the team in new techniques to meet our customer's needs. In the years to come the business will move onto the next generation of family ownership.
