■ Tuesday at 7 p.m., Vipassana (insight through awareness) Practice at Ewam Magadha Garden of One Thousand Buddhas near Arlee (White Coyote Rd.)

■  Friday at 7 p.m., public talk on Universal Compassion Movement at Open Way Sangha, 702 Brooks St.

 ■ Saturday, April 3, Dharma Workshop: Mind Transformation, 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. at Open Way. Phelgye will teach from the Eight Verses of Mind Transformation and will lead guided meditations on Chenrezig, the deity of Great Compassion, as well as tonglen, the practice of giving and taking.

 ■ Saturday, April 3, vegetarian potluck is 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Open Way.

■ Sunday, April 4, Dharma Workshop: Mind Transformation continues at Open Way, 9 a.m.-noon.

Suggested donation for Saturday’s potluck is $15. Suggested donation for the Saturday-Sunday retreat/workshop is $60.
