Missoulian Three Forks wins girls's title
BOZEMAN - Jeromey Burke shot a 91 to lead the Deer Lodge boys to a second-place finish at the Manhattan Invitational golf tournament Tuesday.
Burke tied for sixth place and teammate J.T. Gilman tied for 10th with 94 as the Wardens scored 375 points. Manhattan won the boys' tournament with 345 strokes.
Other Wardens were Tony Scharf and Eric Woodward, who each shot 95, and Eric Woodward, who finished with 97.
The Deer Lodge girls finished last out of seven teams at 514. Amber Jenkins led the way, shooting a 115. Abbie Barres (118), Dev Kelley (131) and Holly Barres (151) rounded out the scoring for the Deer Lodge girls.
Three Forks won the girls' title with 450 strokes.
