HAMILTON - The Bitter Root Humane Association will hold its fourth annual Festival of Wreaths fundraising event at the beautifully decorated Daly Mansion on Nov. 21.
Board member Sue McCormick said the festive evening will feature beautiful wreaths and fabulous food – a great way to begin the holiday season.
“The main reason to come is to support the animal shelter,” McCormick said. “We have delicious hors d’oeuvres and decadent desserts, a no-host bar, and the mansion will be open for self-guided tours. Beautiful lights and a delicious spread will leave you stuffed, satisfied and ready to shop our unique gift ideas.”
The association has a gallery of wreaths uniquely decorated by area artists, businesses and supporters. It will also have undecorated wreaths, antique and vintage ornaments, handcrafted centerpieces and a gingerbread house.
“Some very special wreaths will have a sealed bid,” McCormick said. “Everything else will be set with a price.”
McCormick said the amazing raffle baskets are another reason to attend. Each basket is filled with tempting tidbits that fit the themes: pina colada, Montana chocolates, wine cave and viva Mexico. Raffle tickets for these “beautifully crafted cornucopias of pleasure” are $1 each, six for $5, or an arm span, about 35 tickets, for $20.
The Festival of Wreaths at the Daly Mansion costs $25 per person and is limited to 130 guests. Tickets are selling fast, and reservations are recommended – call (406) 363-5311.
“From stocking-stuffers to show-stoppers, we have gifts for every name on your list,” said McCormick. “Plus you’re supporting the Bitter Root Humane Association and it’s just a very cool event.”
The Festival of Wreaths event will be 6-8 p.m., Nov. 21 at the Daly Mansion, 251 Eastside Highway in Hamilton.
