While venues around town are hosting First Night Missoula activities, there are a handful of concerts on tap.
At the Wilma Theatre, local progressive bluegrass favorites the Lil' Smokies and country-rock band Best Westerns are holding down an all-local bill.

Over at the Top Hat Lounge, Missoula funk act Shakewell is headlining a "Black Tie Affair."
They'll help ring in the New Year with a "very special mashup of the 15 worst songs of 2015."
Openers are musically omnivorous group Mendelssohn. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. and the show starts at 10. Admission is $5, 21 and older only.
San Francisco progressive house and electro DJ Lucky Date is headline a night of electronic at Stage 112 and the Real Lounge downstairs at the Elks Club.
Rounding out the bill are DJs Cómo Se Va, Holdr b2b, M-AD, Kapture, Milkcrate Mechanic, R00ster, Skillbilliez and Tempo Tantrum.
