New board members
Treasure State Bank welcomes MaryEllen Campbell, Mark J. Burnham and J. Richard Orizotti to its board of directors. Campbell is a marketing communications consultant with more than 25 years experience who also taught for 30 years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Montana. Burnham, a business executive with more than 25 years experience, most recently served as senior vice president of finance and later president and chief operating officer of Harvest Facility Holdings. Orizotti is an attorney specializing in banking, real estate, business formation and transactions, and mining law. He is presently practicing at Poore, Roth & Robinson. Prior to that, he served as general counsel for Harvest Facility Holdings and as a staff attorney with Montana Power Co.
Lisa Carter has been elected president of the Missoula AIDS Council Board of Directors. Carter works at Missoula Aging Services. Other newly elected officers include Carol Lipp of US Bank, vice president; Morgan Halvorson of Galusha Higgins & Galusha, treasurer; and Pam Goldberg of Community Medical Center, secretary.
The Missoula Breakfast Forum Toastmasters Club elected the following officers for the 2010-2011 year: Amy Yalon, president; Deirdre Flaherty, vice president of education; Katie Mickey, vice president of membership; Athena Pallis, vice president of public relations; Barbara Berens, secretary/treasurer; Ian Rufe, sergeant of arms; and Tim Worley, immediate past president.
Phil Leiritz, owner of Your Custom Cellar LLC, has been elected to the board of the new Missoula Winery and Event Center.
Chet Morris, a financial adviser with Ameriprise Financial in Missoula, has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant professional designation by completing coursework and a series of examinations.

The Missoula Businesswomen's Network has installed new officers for the term July 2010-June 2011. Serving as president is Christine Johnson, business development director for Johnson Brothers and owner of Clover Creative Consulting. President-elect is Connie Slagle of Destination Organization, and past president is Deidre Flaherty, owner of Flaherty Financial Services Inc.
The following members of the Missoula Breakfast Forum Toastmasters Club have distinguished themselves by achieving these educational goals: Katie Mickey and Amy Yalon, Competent Communicator; Tim Worley and Margery Palmer, Advanced Communicator Bronze; Shawn Gray and Rashel Jeffrey, Advanced Communicator Silver; and Karen Ward, Advanced Communicator Gold. Marilyn Lemaich of the Missoula Breakfast Forum Toastmaster Club has taken on the role of area governor for the four Toastmaster Clubs in Missoula for the 2010-2011 year. The area governor conducts officer training, club visits and hosts the Club Area Contest twice a year. Lou Ann Crowley is the immediate past area governor.
The Montana Broadcasters Association announced finalists for the annual E.B.Craney Awards, and KPAX-TV received five nominations garnering two first-place awards. Andrea Lutz, anchor of the weekend newscasts, took first place for Best Television Spot News for the station's coverage of the Smurfit-Stone Container closure. Promotions manager James Rafferty took first place for Best Television Station Promotion and also was nominated for Best Television Station Public Service Announcement. KPAX's evening newscast, "The 5:30 News," was a finalist for Television Newscast of the Year and co-anchor Jill Valley was nominated for "Television On-Air Broadcaster of the Year." She is a five-time winner of this award.

Mandi Tine Griffin, M.D., has joined the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital medical staff and is seeing patients at the Bitterroot Clinic at 224 Westwood Drive in Hamilton.
