Zion National Park's south entrance is about 40 miles northeast of St. George, Utah, on Interstate 15 and Utah Highway 9. A free shuttle service takes visitors up the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, which is the most popular part of the park. Most of the main trails are paved or well-graded, but sturdy footwear is advised. Bring plenty of sun protection and water supplies as well. For complete park information, check www.nps.gov/Zion/index.htm.
