Silent auction, chili feed will help youth mission trip

First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. Fifth St. W., will have a chili cook-off and silent auction Sunday, 5:30-7:30 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall, to benefit the high school mission trip to build a house in Mexico. Many varieties of specialty chili and corn bread are available. The cost is $5 for children, $10 for adults or $25 per family.

Polson parishes coordinate for Vacation Bible School

POLSON - Polson Catholic, Episcopal, Good Shepherd Lutheran, Presbyterian and United Methodist churches are combining efforts to organize Vacation Bible School June 30- July 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The week's schedule also includes a youth night for grades 7-12 from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and a family potluck at 6 p.m. Thursday. Call (406) 883-5864.

First United Methodist announces fall Bible study

First United Methodist Church, 300 E. Main St., will begin the 2008-09 Disciple Program, a Bible study based on the best modern scholarship.
