Alina Bruhnke, a senior at Hellgate High School, is putting on a benefit concert Friday, May 7, at 7 p.m. on the second floor of the Union Hall, 208 E. Main St.

Proceeds of the concert will go to The Spina Bifada Association. Bruhnke, whose brother has spina bifada, says the benefit is not only about raising money but educating others about spina bifada.

The concert will feature several high school bands including Britta and Bekah from Hellgate High School, A Memory of Elephants from Hellgate, and the World Through Sunglasses from Sentinel High School.  There will be food, drinks, raffle and prizes. $5 donation at the door is requested.
