The Montana State Parks and Recreation Board will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 10:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Country Inn, 1020 W. Ninth St., in Libby.
The board will take action on the Montana State Parks Land Policy, approval of capital projects, the proposed Hell Creek State Park Master Site Plan and concurrence of snowmobile grant awards. The board will also hear informational updates on Milltown State Park land acquisition; the Park Foundation; and Fish, Wildlife and Parks' 15 and Forward initiative.
The public is invited to attend the meeting. A public comment period for items not on the agenda is scheduled for 11 a.m.
The board will hold a work session before the meeting to discuss the Montana State Parks Strategic Plan Implementation. The work session begins at 8:30 a.m.

On Wednesday, Aug. 19, board members will tour the Thompson Chain of Lakes Recreation Complex and Rexford Bench Campground on Lake Koocanusa.
