Missoulian Thirteen 3-pointers might be state single-game record
LIBBY - Senior Matt Luedtke buried 13 shots from 3-point range and scored a career-high 50 points Friday night in Ronan's 91-53 Western A basketball victory over Libby.
Luedtke's 13 treys is believed to be a state single-game record. The 6-foot-3 guard had 26 points at halftime when Ronan built a 44-23 lead. He finished the night with 17 total field goals, and hit 3 of 5 free throws.
Both teams bombed away all night, combining for 25 3-pointers. Ronan made 16 of 26 attempts from beyond the arc (62 percent), while Libby made 9 of 20. Sophomore Luke Harmon had 26 points for Libby, including seven treys.
Ronan plays host to top-ranked Stevensville Saturday night for the Western A lead. (See story, Page D-4).
