Camp Mak-A-Dream is auctioning off a football signed by members UM Grizzlies' 1995 national championship team.

A Missoula nonprofit that helps child cancer patients and their families is raising money by auctioning off a piece of Montana Grizzlies history – a football signed by every member of the 1995 national championship team.

Mike Carter, director of development for Camp Mak-A-Dream, said fans can bid on the the football, originally a presentation ball from the game, through the end of this year’s Griz season. Originally, bidding was supposed to end Saturday after the Brawl of the Wild game against Montana State in Bozeman.

“We said it would be through the end of the season. Well, the season got extended a little bit,” Carter said.

More information about the silent auction is available on Camp Mak-A-Dream’s Facebook page, and bids can be submitted by emailing jennifer@campdream.org.
