United We Eat

Megan, left, and Zohair Bajwa prepare chicken korma to be served Wednesday through "United We Eat @home," a Soft Landing Missoula pilot program for refugee and immigrant cooks and chefs. The program started the second week of April this year and features various cuisines from around the world, served up to the community at a small price. Zohair is an immigrant from Lahore, Pakistan and has been in the United States since 2006. The pair, who married September 2018, are cooking for their first time at Soft Landing. "It's my way of giving back to the community," Zohair said.
