MISSOULA - Jean Marie Logan died on Sunday, July 5, 2009, at home surrounded by a loving circle of friends and family.
Jean was born in Billings on Aug. 26, 1959, to Phyllis and Leon Logan.
She is survived by her husband Dallas Seaber; her mother Phyllis Logan; brothers Lloyd and Morgan; and sisters Linda and Toni.
She found her soulmate and partner for life at age 19 in Bend, Ore. Dallas Seaber and Jean married and built a wonderful life together as they moved throughout the West Coast and finally settled in Missoula in 1996.
Jean earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in health, graduating from Western Oregon State College in 1986. She went on to get her massage education in San Diego, Calif., and then her master's degree in acupuncture and Oriental medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 1994.
She was introduced to Qigong early in her career as a health care practitioner and was certified to teach Qigong through the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School. She was a Senior Teacher and this summer was to be recognized as a Qigong Master by Ling Qui. Jean was a gifted healer and teacher for more than 20 years, with a passion for empowering others in their journey through life.
Jean and her husband own The Acupuncture Clinic of Missoula. Together with other dedicated practitioners, they established Health Options Clinic, LLC, a multi-disciplinary health care clinic. Jean was the president of the Montana Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine for seven years and remained active in the organization until her death.
People who knew Jean will remember her healing presence, her laughter, those organizational skills, her passion for life, including gardening, learning, travel, friends, good food, her sense of style and beauty, and a daily celebration of life. She brought light and joy to all who knew her.
