MERIDIAN, Idaho - Margaret Ann Fausett Little, of Meridian and formerly of Stevensville, passed away Monday June 2, 2008, at Diamond View Assisted Living in Meridian, where she resided for the last four years.
She was born July 28, 1914, on the South Burnt Fork near Stevensville to Barney and Mary Fausett and was one of five girls.
She married Howard "Sonny" Little in 1938. They ran the Cenex Station on Main Street from 1938 until 1976 and lived in the Little family home on Mission Street. She resided there until she moved to Meridian. Their son, Howard Sam Little, was born in 1941.
Margaret was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star Beulah Chapter No. 8 in Stevensville. She served in all the offices of these organizations.
She and her husband spent many years enjoying square-dancing and baseball teams.
Margaret was a caring, loving person who enjoyed visiting with all whom she came in contact with and was always willing to help others out.
She is survived by her son, Howard (Darlene) of Meridian; two grandsons, Chris (Bonney) of Caldwell, Idaho, and Joe of Fairbanks, Alaska; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny; sisters, May, Eleanor, Alice and Mildred; as well as her parents.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 26, at the Whitesitt Funeral Home in Stevensville. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, at Riverside Cemetery Stevensville with Pastor Nancy Slabaugh-Hart officiating. Beulah Chapter will present Eastern Star rites.
A reception will follow at United Methodist Church.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Stevensville Senior Center.
