CASPER, Wyo. – "For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the Faith. Now there is for me a crown of righteousness." 2 Timothy 4:6-8.
On Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, Carol M. Thrapp passed in her sleep. She finished the race and won the prize, and went home to stand in the presence of eternity, Jesus himself. Carol lived in Casper, Wyoming, and was born in Helena on Feb. 13, 1938, to Trygve and Minnie Norseth. Her husband of 53 years, Charles R. Thrapp, preceded her passing in August 2009.
Carol is survived by her sister, Thelma Elser and her husband Smoke of Missoula. She is also survived by her children, Wade Thrapp and his wife Michelle of Spokane, Stacy Rosenbaum and her husband Mark of Casper, Kevin Thrapp and his wife Amber of Casper and Brian Thrapp of Missoula; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her faithful cat, Lucy.
Services will be held Monday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. at the House of our Shepard Church in Powder River, Wyoming.
