CUT BANK – Donald L. Stiner Jr., 62, a retired diesel mechanic from Cut Bank, died surrounded by family on March 11, 2010, at the Glacier Care Center due to complications of diabetes. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the Cut Bank Golf & Country Club. No services will be held at his request. Don was born July 5, 1947, to Don and Mary (Miller) Stiner in Missoula. He attended elementary and high school in Arlee and attended Diesel Mechanic Training School in Missoula. He married Helen (Kennedy) Stiner on July 12, 1968, in Cardston, Alberta, Canada.
He loved golfing, hunting, fishing, watching his grandkids in their events, NASCAR, bowling, model cars, and was a huge Griz fan.
Don is survived by his loving and devoted wife Helen; son Zane (Tasha) Stiner of Cut Bank; granddaughters Kenzie and Kodee Stiner of Cut Bank; daughter Kim (Josh) Czech of Cut Bank; grandsons Spencer and Noah Czech of Cut Bank; father Don (Juanita) Stiner of Missoula; brother, George (Dianna) Stiner of Arlee; sister Peggy (David) Benth of Gillette, Wyo.; sister Rebeca (Jamie) Glantz of Missoula; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his mother, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
